If you're here, it means you've received our Christmas email and are helping us do something a little different this year.

Instead of cards and gifts, we're donating the money on your behalf to local Manchester charities that are doing vital work in our communities. These are organisations supporting people who need it most – especially at this time of year. We'd love you to decide where our donation goes.

Below you can read a little more about each charity, then cast your vote.

Once voting closes, our total donation will be split between the charities in proportion to the votes received – so every vote really does make a difference.

Eat Well MCR

Fighting food poverty across Greater Manchester

Eat Well MCR works to tackle food inequality by redistributing surplus food to people who need it most. They support families and individuals who are struggling to access nutritious meals, while also reducing food waste across the city. Their work helps ensure that everyone has the dignity of good food on their table.

The Mustard Tree

Ending poverty and preventing homelessness

The Mustard Tree supports people experiencing homelessness, poverty and social isolation across Greater Manchester. Through practical support, training, counselling and long-term guidance, they help individuals rebuild confidence, stability and independence. Their focus is on creating lasting change, not short-term fixes.

Forever Manchester

Supporting grassroots community groups

Forever Manchester exists to fund and support community activity across Greater Manchester. They champion hundreds of small, local groups who bring people together, reduce loneliness and improve lives at a neighbourhood level. Their work strengthens communities from the ground up, ensuring local projects can continue to thrive.
